This week's focus is online gaming.

Online gaming can offer many positive experiences. It can give children and young people the chance to escape into a virtual world, to learn, and to connect with others.

 

However, there is a risk of children and young people viewing inappropriate content in games and being contacted by adults seeking to exploit them.

It is really important to look after our mental health and wellbeing. One way we can look after our mind when we are learning is to have a Growth Mindset instead of a Fixed Mindset. Having a fixed mindset might make you feel frustrated. Take a look at these resources from Twinkl to find out more about growth mindset and take some time to reflect and think of how you can follow this to help develop a positive attitude to learning and life.
