We hope you and your loved ones are getting by in these challenging and unsettling times. We are now adapting well to learning from home and as a school we want to support you in all aspects of your child’s education including PSHE. We have put together some advice, resources and links to websites to support you during this difficult time.
As a parent/carer you are your child’s first educator and play a vital role in their personal and social development. Therefore, PSHE education should always be a partnership between schools and parents/carers. This guide will support you to contribute to your child’s PSHE education outside of school or through home learning. This guidance is relevant at any time, but particularly so given current school closures due to the coronavirus epidemic.
Child Bereavement UK, Winston’s Wish, Hope Again and Grief Encounter - All offer excellent guidance relating to Covid-19 that you might find useful to forward to parents and pupils, as well as helpline options. You can find out more information about each organisation below.
