Reading for Pleasure

Don't know why it has taken me so long but I have just joined the library and have been listening to audio books - Sherlock Holmes, which I have really enjoyed. I've been listening to the short stories such as 'The Beryl Coronet' and 'Adventure of the Speckled Band' It is so easy, you do not need a library card, but you will need an adult to register online for you: https://www.reading.gov.uk/elibrary

Even better, I have found a website which as a free ebook library and there are some fab books on it, that I think you will love. All you need to do is register and all the books are tablet-friendly. The link below takes you to the aged 9 -11 page.

I hope you had a chance to read 'Raiders Peril' or some of the other books below, if not give them a go and let me know what you think of them, on the blog. What did you like/dislike?

I hope you are still finding plenty of time to read. I've been reading Harry Potter again and I love it even more this time. I am going to include some e books for you to read  for pleasure. I've had to upload these as PDFs which you can read from the screen or print off. I've also included a sheet of Reading Activities for you to have a look at, you can complete these in your Reading Journals, an exercise book or even better you could write something on the blog!

Just discovered this which I think some of you will like.
