Presentation

Today, the Junior Carers visited the hospital for the final time as part of the programme. They were invited into the boardroom, where they gave a presentation about what they had learned during their visits. To celebrate their contributions and commitment, each Junior Carer was presented with a certificate and badge by Dom Hardy, the Chief Operating Officer. As a thank you, the children gave a card to Dom, Sharon, and Maria to express their appreciation to everyone who helped make the Junior Carers Programme possible. Inside the card, they wrote personal reflections about their experiences—some of which you can read below.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our Junior Carers for their commitment, enthusiasm, and contributions throughout the programme. Your compassion and curiosity made each visit meaningful and memorable.

Thank you also to Sharon and Maria for organising such a wide range of engaging experiences and for introducing the children to so many inspiring people.

I am also incredibly grateful to all the adult helpers who supported the monthly visits to the hospital, and to our school’s admin team for their ongoing help behind the scenes. This programme would not have been possible without your time, care, and teamwork.
