It is important to read with your child and to listen to them read to you.
The links below will explain further how we teach reading and how you can support your child at home.
Your child will receive a phonics booklet, reading record and a plastic wallet, in which to keep these, along with a reading book.
Aim to read your child's reading book with them at least 3 times a week, everyday is even better.
Please send your child's reading folder to school everyday and ensure that our school reading books are treated with care.
